What you will do: - Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the new vehicle sales department with assistance from the Dealer and General Sales Manager.
- Attend manager meetings.
- Assist the General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the new-vehicle department.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
- Oversee the efforts of new-vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
- Communicate with new-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Guide all salespeople in setting their objectives on a short and long-range basis, review team performance.
What we are looking for: - Automotive Sales Manager experience required
- Consistently performing in the top of sales metrics
- F&I experience in sales and/or management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A heart for customer care and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Availability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record with minimal accidents, points or moving violations
- Able to use/learn to use: CRM database, Google Suite and other automotive software products as required
