Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years License: Iowa or National Paramedic Certification Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience. Prehospital experience required. Description: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Onboarding requirements include a complete background check, including criminal and child abuse portions. Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult is required. A drug test must consist of a 10-panel screening, including opiates. Titers must be within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. Must be a team player and focused on patient care. The role will assist in the Emergency Department as requested. Completion of a paramedic program is required. Dress code includes black or blue pants and black shoes or boots; uniform tops will be provided.
